Thank you, that helps so much. ^-^ I am so sorry for not getting back to you. I have been busy with college stuff so it was hard for me to work on my novel. I am back at it though. I think I am going to make him be born with the very rare disease where the hypothalamus never developed. I can work with him being cold blooded I think more than it not working, but I might chage my mind. Either way it helps a lot more to know that it may work out in the story some. Thank you again.
If you have more suggestions you may always tell me. ^-^ I am really open for more ideas for my novel or for another novel.
Hi,
It’s great to know you are writing a novel and you seem to have some good creative thoughts about the character in the novel. Unfortunately, I haven’t come across such a disorder in which a person becomes prone to a heat stroke. Fortunately, the hypothalamus which is a part of our brain and is responsible for maintaining the temperature does a pretty decent job and is able to maintain the body temperature even in the extremes of external temperature which can vary from 550 C to – 600 C. I suggest that you make a character who’s hypothalamus is not working or may be he was born with a very very rare disease in which no hypothalamus developed in the brain and the person became cold blooded (one who’s body temperature varied with the external temperature) and not warm blooded (what we normally are).
I hope that helps.
Please do revert if you want some more suggestions.
Kind regards.
