blood work?, skin sensitivity, chronic fatigue, urgency to BM and urination

I was wondering if any of you can tell me if you have blood taken is the results always right?  For example I have chronic fatigue and have had it for over 12 yrs and i am 29yrs old.  I have had my thyroid tested many times and I guess whatever else they test you with when you feel like this.  But nothing.  Could gallbladder do this, kidneys?  I am getting more exhausted as the days go by more exhausted than the last 12 yrs.  I cant seem to function.. I also have had urgency to go to the bathroom both ways I feel like I am losing contol of those funtions.  I have been  naseated for over a year and I cant get better and i eat very well.  Except the last couple of days because it is so bad.  i have had weird pains in my legs like I am having a blood clot and its lasts for hours.  Plus i had sensitivity around my ribs in just one area.  I have severe sensitivity to smell and touch since my daughter was born that was three years ago.  I am so lost any help would be great

hey, i feel your pain my sister!  I feel the same way - have been diagnosed with a host of disorders myself - bipolar - hypomanic, severe depression - fibromyalgia - TMJ - Hypothyroid...the list goes on and on.  These new symptoms started close to a year ago - numbness and tingling, electrical shock sensations, headaches, eye pain, etc.  FINALLY TODAY got my dr to refer me to neurologist!  Hoping that THIS test will give me some peace of mind.  I just want to get back to normal - or atleast what is normal for me!  I have been tested for Lupus, Celiac Disease, RA, Diabetes, had EKG's - the works.  Geez, I just fell apart in my thirties - I'm only 38 - I should be enjoying my son while he still doesn't mind being seen in public with me!!!! LOL!  Now just wondering if I have some brain tumor or MS or a host of other diseases.  Hope you find the help you need as well.  Peace to you!  Charley

Hello:

I can relate to some of what you are experiencing. I too am at a loss for what to do about my health and I just wanted to tell you that you are not alone. I have ongoing nausea and dizziness, my eyes feel like they are bulging and I hurt all over. I too have CFS, IBS, Celiac disease, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, daily migraines, pains in my legs that I worry are blood clots, GERD, bleeding in my stomach and gastritis. Because I took so many advils for my pains, I have the gastritis and stomach bleeding. You may want to try protonix for the stomach problems. I spend too much time on the internet reading about illness, which seems to cause me more pains. I have myself convinced that I have lymphoma because I have swollen lymph nodes that are not tender as well as the myriad of symptoms I already listed above. I am trying to take my own advice when I say this; try to stay off the internet and take the meds the doctor gave you. If you had cancer or something serious, they would have caught it in your tests by now. I pray a lot and can only hope that someday this misery will fianlly end for the sake of my family and my own peace of mind. God bless.

I agree that you should focus on whatever's bothering ou most, but you Dr. will be able to do a better job if you make a typed list of all your symptoms, how often they occur, and how long you've had them. Make sre you read over the list with her, and ask her if there is a way you can find out if these things are all related. Don't feel bad for taking up too much of her time, or making someone else wait. Afterall, she does get paid for it. Try not to leave without at least some lab work and hopefully a referral to someone who can give you answers.
I don't know about getting referrals to Mayo clinic.

i was told I had IBS when i was 15 this is not liek IBS at all this is crazy. IT switches from hard to soft and all of the sudden pain in my rectum than nothing. I think it may be different things but i have to be slow because drs get all freaked out when you tell them you have problems.  IF they cant solve it they label you as a hypocondriac.  Some people just get lucky with good doctors i suppose.  I have FMS, CFS, RLS, TOS, GERD, IBS, and lots more.  All of that was diagnosed within 12 yrs time.  I possibly have endo and i want to know for sure but this doc will not so  a lap.. oh well thank you for responding

I know you've posted before, but I can't remember if you've had any autoimmune testing done recently. Many of your sypmtoms could fall into this category. Typically Fibro., CFS, and IBS are all diseases of ommission. They should test you for everything else first. Some Dr.'s don't though. Gallbladd trouble could cause runny bowels, and nausea. Blood tests results are only as good as their interpretation. If it's been more than 2 years since you've had autoimmune tests done, you should re-do them. Some autoimmune conditions take a while  to show up significantly in the blood. This is because they are progressive, and they wax and wane. Don't give up, but don't be afraid to ditch your Dr. Have you been to an Rheumatologist for the pain? How about a Gastro. for the tummy troubles?

I know there is seriously something wrong and I am afraid to tell them.  I have an appointment on tuesday with my doctor, iam going to start of telling her about my bowel and urinary issues to start and nausea because they are all bugging me the most.  I am so confused. Can mayo clinics send you for referrals?

Hi,
I have to tell you that I am so sorry that you are dealing with chronic pain. I do, as well.  I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (by rhumetologist).  I am in pain everyday - and it can be very debilitating.  It's even harder when you're a mom because you really can't just stop...... It seems like you have been tested for alot of different things...wish I could help....some of it sounds like thyroid to me..but if you've had that tested....anyway, I hope that you find some peace soon - chronic pain can be so isolating and depressing - you look ok on the outside, so people don't really believe that you are sick.  It's hard. Hey, what about IBS - my sister has that - she had some of those symptoms as well.  I hope you find the help you need soon.
Peace, Charley1986
