Welcome to the MedHelp forum!
Erythema means there is inflammation. It could be due to acidity, H pylori infection or due to some food allergy. Your gastroenterologist who did the biopsy will be able to throw more light on it depending on your symptoms. You may need a carbon breath test to diagnose H pylori infection. It is difficult to comment beyond this at this stage.
