In that case, it's less likely to be TMJ. It may be an ear infection like someone else said. Keep in mind though that any type of oral tobacco product can cause cancer of the facial cavities.
its not chew its the kind of tobacco that u put in ure lip and get juice out of it, skoal for example...
A low-grade chronic ear infection could cause pain that is induced by changes in head position. It also could cause pain, or at least, uncomfortable sensitivity of that side of the face and scalp.
It could be TMJ from all the chewing, but you need to see your Dr for a CT scan because chew causes facial cavity cancer. Good luck, and PLEASE stop chewing!
