low back pain, left front and left butt cheek

I have had low back pain for about 5 years now. In the past 2 years I have also had pain that was in my lower left abdomen and also pain down my left butt cheek. I get it also down my left leg from time to time. At times the pain in my abdomen and low back get pretty bad. I went last week and had an MRI and he said I have a disc that is starting to go bad but he said it shouldn't cause all the pain I am in. I am worried about my colon but he said that won't make my back hurt or the pain in my leg. I'm 33 years old. What should I do now and what could this be? thanks in advance..

Something else that can cause that kind of pain is an ovarian cyst.  Try seeing if you can get a transvaginal ultrasound done.  Good luck!
