phantom odor -addon

I don't know if it makes any difference, but about six years ago, I had a bout with a phantom taste. It lasted about a week, was never explained, but I think it had to do with the beginning of my sarcoidosis. Anything I ate or drank tasted like metal and left the same as an aftertaste.
