Kidney infection & swelling
My aunty went to ER w/ extreme fatigue, fever, and hadn't had a bowel movement in 3 days.  They said she has a kidney infection and gave her Cipro.  She went back to ER that night w/ high fever and nausea.  They gave her more meds and IV too.  She's been sleeping for 2 days now, and can barely get the strength to get up, and just keeps sleeping.  Her face is now swollen and abdomen is really bloated now too, and still hasn't had a bowel movement.  Doc says it's part of the infection, and she'll get better in a couple of days...though she seems to get worse.  Should we wait it out, like doc says, or worry about other possible infections (which is what i'm thinking)?  Please help.
