Over a year with a thrombosed vein

Hello,

About a year ago I injured myself doing PE and got a thrombosed vein at the right side of the base of my penis, I didn´t let it heal correctly even though I stopped doing PE because I am sexually active and have not stopped having sex for over a year when it began. The symptoms are a cordlike sensation and mild pain that presents itself more intensly after having intercourse or masturbation, considering that I have had the problem for more than a year, is it possible to fix it?

I´ve read that it is treated with Tenoxicam or Ibuprofen, what would be the daily dosis I would have to take?
What is the correct treatment I could take to heal, it actually feels the same as in the beginning; the pain hasn´t really gotten worse or anything

Thankyou

Hello dr_simran,

I don´t mind the pain, it is not a severe pain, what I would prefer is to try anti inflamatories, I read about aspirin and dipiridamol, will these be good for reducing the level of inflamation and aiding in my recovery?

If so, What dosis would be a good one?

Thankyou

Hello juan3,

It seems that there has been some kind of thrombosis, post trauma. You can take ibuprofen after meals 400 mg twice daily. Consult your urologist to determine the extent of thrombosis as ibuprofen would only result in symptomatic improvement.
