Problems 5 months after sex

by l00t, Aug 27, 2006 12:00AM
Hello and thanks for any advise.

I had sex for the very first time about 5 months ago.  It was unprotected.  A few days after I started having pain in my penis, especialy on the tip.  I was hoping it was just an UTI but when it didn't go away I went to see my GP.  He said it was probably chlamydia and gave me antibiotics, and said that if it was positive he would contact me.  I took the medicine but i dint't see an improvement.  When he never contacted me I thought that it was negative so me and my girlfriend had safe sex, but the condom split.  A few days passed and I got an intense pain on the tip of my penis again.  The shaft of my penis swelled (which passed as I urinated) so I went back and he told me I had tested positive and gave me some more antibiotics.
Now my girlfriend went to get tested twice at one clinic and was given antibiotics but the tests were negative.  Then we both went to a clinic at the hospital and took tests.  2 each over a month and they both turned out negative also for chlamydia, gonnoria, aids and some others.
I feel like I have a weakness in my bladder, like when I turn in bed or bend over I get a stabbing feeling like im going to wet myself but I can keep it in.  My penis head is slightly cracked and the tip is red.  I've shown my GP many times and the man at the hospital clinic but they said it just looks like dry skin and that I should put E45 or some other cream on.  Ive done this but it hasn't changed anything.  Sometimes there are small red dots on the side of my penis, I noticed them a day after sex but they dont stay long.  And when I urinate or strain a little the skin turns blotchy with red and white patches.  No bumps, just in the skin.
No matter how hard I shake or milk my penis there is always a drip after I urinate.

Please help as I feel helpless, the doctor keeps saying give it time but I have and there has been no improvement at all, especialy the skin problem on my penis.  I'm worried that maybey my prostate is infected or weak?

Thankyou for any help.

I seems like the common STDs have been ruled out with appropriate tests and antibiotics were given.

You can look at causes like dermatitis or a fungal infection which can be treated with a steroid cream or topical antifungal respectively.

Further evaluation can be considered with a dermatology referral or a urology referral.  The latter evaluation can evaluate for anatomical causes via a cystoscopy or prostate evaluation.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
