: I went to the doctors after feeling a lump the size of a pea just below
: my right testicle  The Doctor told me I was epididymis and it usally comes
: drom riding bycles, horse back riding etc.  He place me on Vibramycin and
: told me it should be cleared up in about two weeks. If it did not
: go away to come back.  I had a vassectomy about 1 year and half ago.  It only
: hurs when I or my wife touches it . Should I be conserned?

I'm not the doctor, so keep checking back for their response.
I would be concerned if the lump remains after two weeks.
Is this lump ON the testicle, or is it clearly on the epididymis?
Can you separate the lump from the testicle?
Doug

The lump is not on the testicle it is below it cannot say it is clearly on th e
epididymis?  I will be finishing up the 2 weeek course of Doxycycline 100mg
Bid on Friday.  To day is Tues day. So far the lump has not got larger or
smaller.  I think I will ask my family doctor to refer me to the Urologist
who did my vasectomy.    Would it be improper to ask him to remove the lump?
Thank you
Doug

If the lump is not on the testicle, then it cannot be testicular cancer.
If it no longer hurts, then it does not need to be removed. If it does
hurt, then removal may solve the problem.
Good Luck!
Doug
