When I turned 18, I took Paxil for almost 5 years before weening off. After that I would get very weak initial feelings of the climax before it just and i ejaculate normally without pain.
I have noticed that this "pleasureless" masturbation did not produce pain during ejaculation. Could this be due to lack of intensity and pleasure of the "climax" and that after I regain normal sexual function, this pain would come back?
I did not masturbate regularly so it may be possible that my body had healed itself and I just happened to be on Paxil. But I remember expericing the pain throughout my teenage years and finally once more at age 17 before going on Paxil at age 18. I'm very worried that this pain may come back...
I have been off the medication for 3 months and still have not noticed signs of improvement in terms of ability to orgasm. Could this be a sign of post ssri sexual dysfunction?

I am not a health professional but I have discussed Paxil sexual side effects with some prominent physicians. When I was 25 I had Nocturnal Rigid Scan while I was taking Paxil. The doctor is probably one of the top 5 experts of ED in the counrty. I was concerned that the drug would hinder the test results. He stated that paxil just gives delayed ejaculation and I eventually passed the rigid scan with flying colors.
I never took the drug for such a long period. I can tell you that I noticed the first few weeks a decrease in libido but once the anti-depressant started to improve mood there was a major improvement in both desire and functioning. In once instance, I could even ejaculate 10 times in one day. The drug does have these ejaculatory disorders. Never got that from Zoloft, Effexor, or Buspar. I noticed that once I stopped taking the medicine there was a few weeks needed to stop delayed ejaculation effect.
The problems you mentioned don't seem to be related to the drug, and you should consult your doctor to see if any other ailment can be the origin of these symptoms'
