Testacle/penis/colon pain

For a month and a half I have been experiencing a dull aching pain in my left testacle. The pain runs from my penis through my testacle and down the side of the same testacle. I had this pain years ago, visited a urologist, and nothing was found. In addition to this pain,I now have a burning sensation when I urinate or when I apply squeezing pressure to my penis. I also have a constant pain in my colon, as if I need to have a bowel movement. I was tested for STDs and a UTI, but my urine and blood tests came back normal. I was prescribed antibiotics at the time of my initial visit as a precautionary measure, but to no avail. Is it possible the tests were wrong?  My wife also was tested for STDs and UTI; her tests also came back normal.  What do you suggest?

Prostate is the one organ I would look at closely.  Infection of the prostate, or prostatitis, can lead to the symptoms you are describing.  

I would start with a thorough digital rectal exam.  If there is any prostatic secretions expressed, this can be sent off to the lab for culture and analysis.  

You can also consider a transrectal ultrasound to image the prostate for any abscesses.

There are some cases of prostatitis that can require an extended course of antibiotics.  If there is evidence of an abscess, this would need to be drained.
