Hi,
Blood in the urine or hematuria, may be due to problems of the kidneys or other parts of the urinary tract. This may include kidney or bladder stones, urinary tract infection, inflammation, injury to the kidney, or recent urinary tract procedures (catheterization, circumcision, surgery, or kidney biopsy). This should never be ignored and must be evaluated further by a doctor. Diagnostics such as urinalysis, blood tests, or ultrasound may be done. The treatment will depend on the underlying cause. Antibiotic management is indicated If a urinary tract infection is confirmed. Take care and best regards.
