My 81 year old mother has been experiencing some urinary problems. Symptoms are on and off, brown discharge (urine has been tested and has shown some blood), burning when urinating (tested for infection which showed none), describes an acidy system (self diagnosing). Was given some medication, cleared up for a short time and continues to return. Mother has been drinking lost of water, including cranberry juice which I know is a good cleanser, but chooses not to be tested again. Should this be ignored to see if it clears up on its own. Other than infection, what might it be and what other symptoms would dictate seeing the doctor again.
