I am afraid to get close to him.  Please,  I need more information

Hi,

I too have had indwelling catheter and used to get erections while the catheter was in. At times it has been uncomfortable but no harm has resulted.

I currently have had a catheter in for the last year, I'm 44 and have noticed that I no longer get erections as I used to. Yet the penis might not be in the complete relaxed state. Movement of the catheter can be felt. To cope with the irritation of the catheter I use Buscopan.

I don't think that erections can pose a problem. the catheter will accomodate for erections.

I hope that your husband will be able to get over his problems.

God bless,

Ron
