i recently moved some very heavy items. i have now noticed a dull pain in  my left testicle and it is riding higher than my right one. someone told me to wear jock type underware and soak in a hot tub. is this something that will help? also will it agrivate the issue if i continue to walk on a treadmill?

I would consider further evaluation by a urologist.

Infection, cysts, hydrocele, varicocele or cancer can all cause the symptoms.

A scrotal ultrasound would properly evaluate all the possibilities mentioned above, and should be discussed with your personal physician.

I would also consider a urine sample or urethral swab to look for a urinary tract infection or STD.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
