pancreas atrophy
I have undergone a cat scan and the report inicates that I have atrophy of the pancreas
also multiple tiny pheblotiths on the peovis region ,can you explain what is the atrophy of the pancreas.

Hi there!

Atrophy refers to reduction in the size of the pancreas and could occur in relation to chronic inflammation, endocrine insufficiency etc. I would suggest discussing the situation and the suggested management plan in detail with your treating gastroenterologist.
