Hi,

I ended up with a simmilar problem after having had a Foley catheter in.

As painfulas it was at the time, I grabbed my penis between the index and middle finger of both hands and use my thumbs to push against the glans. Pushing the glans into the foreskin, resulting the foreskin covering the glans again. Prior to this I had used an ice pack to try and reduce the swelling.

I had gome in to see our female doctor a the time, and the first thing that she mentioned was circumcision. I would not hear of it and she ended up giving me a steroid cream. I was told to come back immediately if I was unsuccessful in getting the foreskin back over the glans. Since I was successful, after draining some of the fluid using a suringe and the ice pack.

For the next week I allplied the cream to the foreskin as best as I could and after a week was able to retract the foreskin. It was very tight, but I continued to cream and did a gentile stretching using tow fingers inserted next to the glans while I was in the tub.

I caution you in draining the fluid out of the foreskin. I had clean needles from the once I use for Testosterone replacement therapy. Pucturing the foreskin exessively or the use of a dirty needle can result in further swelling. In my case the ice pack might have done the best as it also numbed the penis, I could therefore be more forceful in returning the skin over the glans.

Should this problem continue after steroid, you might have to consider prepuplasty or circumcision. If you are like me, circumcision is not an option.

All the best,

Ron
