  I have a hard ball the size of a pea in my scrotum sac it started below my
  right testical and now is above my left testical.there is some swelling and it
  is very painful if messed with.any chance of finding out what this is without a x-ray?

Thanks Rich for your question.
The cause of  your pain could be as simple as dilated veins  around the testicle ( called a varicocele , which are more common on the left than the right) or as ominous as a testicular tumor.  This needs to be at least checked out by a physical exam from your family doctor if not a Urologist soon.  Other causes should be ruled out also like infection or a  benign epididymal cyst.  There is no way to be sure without an exam.
