It's just omega 3 fatty acids with some other things. No good studies seem to exist. There's also an environmental problem with getting your omega 3 oils from shrimp rather than fish, which is that these shrimp such as krill and this one are tiny and that means you need a ton to make a little fish oil. That also means you basically deplete the ocean pretty quickly of them and all the animals that feed off them will start to die off. This is already happening with krill, and they are more plentiful as far as I can tell than this creature. The argument the company makes is that the fatty acids in this product go to the bottom of the intestine and are therefore more bio-available than other fish oils, but that sounds pretty bogus. And why would omega 3 oils help you shrink your gut? This is a scheme if not a scam. If you want to shrink your gut, you'll need to change your diet and increase the amount of exercise you do -- there are no magic pills other than speed, and you don't want to do speed.
