I was so Determined What happen?

I am hoping someone can help me get focused again...I started Jenny Craig in March and was so determined to lose weight...and I did ..lost about 35 pounds from March till June..I then stopped JC and went over to Weight Watchers and had no focus or determination...(I have been going thru this my whole life) well in August I decided to go back to JC...signed up for 6 weeks and quit after 4 since I wasnt following it at all....Now I re-joined WW and have been terrible...havent been following anything....I am slowly gaining back the weight I lost and I am eating everything in sight!!! Why did I lose my focus???? I cant seem to get back in the swing...I am asking for anyones help to please guide me or give me some pointers...I probably could right my own diet at this point in my life...a little voice inside of me keeps saying...Look what you are doing????? I dont know at this point I feel so disgusted!!!! I try and wake up everyday and say thats it todays a fresh start but it doesnt stay that way.....I am considering Lap Band as a last resort! Thanks for all your input.....Gia :)

Hi, well I know perfectly how you feel. I;ve been through a high-protein, low-carb diet some months ago, and I just didn;'t finish it. I lost all the unwanted weight and was happy with my achievement, now I gained 2 kilos back, but no more.. Considered starting it again, but then just preferred fitness instead. Can't you do exercising instead of diets? It's always better, and you'll feel more motivated and self-confident.

Stopping and starting diets can't do any good - it can only change your muscle to fat ratio, and that is bad.
so maybe you have to think of other opportunities.

And good luck with your weight loss journey! I'm sure, you'll manage it!

Hi Gia.  Yes, the logging of your weight against a target really helps to motivate me.  I also use some of the net tools to calculate all the calories and fats, etc. in what I eat in order to keep in my target area.  For me they suggest between 1200 and 1550 calories a day.  Once you get used to checking the calories and writing down what you eat it really helps.  Try some of the recipes on the healthy cooking forum or on the net too.  Be patient.  Read some of the postings on here on how to get momentum back when you hit a plateau.  Share your progress - good or bad and we will be there for you.
