WELL DONE TO YOU, we all start out by making small steps, that is the best way to do it, with small baby steps you will most likely stick with it, so give yourself a well deserved clap, CONGRATULATIONS

Wow thats great to hear!!! You should be so proud of yourself! I too also stopped drinking soda since I started my diet in September. it's hard at first, but once you start finding things to drink (like water and crystal light) its great! And 6lbs is good to lose in a month. You can't push yourself too much because you want the weight to come off slow so you can keep it off. Good job!!!

Yeah!  That's quite an accomplishment with the soda alone....try turning the math around on yourself for a minute.  If you continue to lose 6 pounds per month for the next 6 months, that's 36 pounds!  And just think what you can do when you slowly start adding more baby steps.  I say you are doing great!  ; )

i just want to say congrats. i never thought about not drinking soda. i love my coke. but i barely dink it. like a 16oz a week. but i drink the heck outta sweet tea. maybe i should switch to no coke and green tea. 6 pounds is a lot in a months time. maybe i could start your baby steps with you. i only need to lose 15more pounds. so im gonna join you on the baby step train.

Just like Elaine said, baby steps are PROVEN to work.  Making BABY STEPS that you are willing to stick with over time make BIG DIFFERENCES.  I'm so happy for you.

Keep up the good work.
