Sunday Weigh In

Sunday, once again and I hope everyone's been on the scale this morning; or whatever day you do your weigh in.

I had almost thought to change my weigh in day to Saturday.  For some reason, Sunday feels like it should be a new beginning, not an ending.

At any rate, I'm down a bit this week - 0.8 lbs - from last, in spite of the fact that I ate way to much yesterday.  I went out to breakfast with my aunt and indulged in pancakes (whole wheat), eggs, bacon, syrup, butter; then in the afternoon, my hubby and I went for late lunch, at which I had my usual salad, steak and baked potato.  This has become "customary" for me, so I'm going to have either exercise more or plan better during the week.  Gotta give this some thought.

At least, I am down a bit this morning from last week and down is the right direction.  I'll be interested in how everyone else did.  I know we are all facing our particular challenges, so hope you were all able to have some success; and best of luck for the coming week.

Your turn.

So for this week hate to say but im up a couple lbs i think its cus of AF being in town recently and because i have been losing inches! Hoping the scales start moving soon! In 2 weeks i have lost about 7 inches!!! Im guessing and  hoping this is the reason the scales havent budged just yet! I have lost 2 in off each thigh 2 off my stomach and 1 off my each of my arms!  I want to lose about 10 lbs for summer so wish me luck!!

Gone down 2 lbs & my husband lost 1. Had some rough moments, but we are not trying to eat the max amount of daily points anymore. In other words our bodies are adjusting to the smaller portions. Last night we each had a full chicken breast & it was a bit much. I never thought that would happen. Gonna focus on increasing water intake this week or however long it takes to get me to drink the stuff!

Barb: Nice going. Great start to a new month!
Tiger: Good job on keeping up with the exercise! You'll be fine. You have remained dedicated for the long run, so don't let yourself get too down over a momentary slump.
Trudie: We are here for you! Keep yourself extra hydrated. Even if the scale doesn't show it, the fact that you just keep trying in spite of everything shows you are a winner this week anyways.
Whatawoman: You're MH name really suits you! You are on a roll & the results are starting to show in your pictures. Good job!
Yallolorry: Good for you taking another step in kicking off the weight & not giving up!

I am the same, again, 157lbs. Today I will start the South Beach Diet and aim to drop ten pounds this month! My weight has been static for too long, it's time I took myself in hand! Wish me luck everyone!

Barb. I'm so impressed you seem to be down a little bit every week for the last few weeks. Little by little you are heading in the right direction. I wonder if you could have a big salad with that steak next week and forgo the baked potato??? that might make all the difference and taste just as good maybe even better, if you don't tell yourself it's a hardship!
Whatawoman - well done, you have done great in 18 days!! I hope I can replicate your success, I'd be delighted with a result like that.
Trudie, good luck with your walk and drinking more water I know you will not give up even with all the difficulties you face. wishing you every success next week.
Tigerlily, you are a strong woman, none of us are perfect though, I wonder why you felt so low and out of control, sounds like how I feel just before my period! could it be hormones? Be nice to yourself, you've done so brilliantly getting to your target weight, you're an inspiration to all of us, dont beat yourself up for the occassional slip when you have so much to celebrate.

sending love and light to all

YL

Well this week (even with me trying except for yesterday) has seen a continual upward motion.  I am retaining so much fluid due to the inflammation in my body and I know I haven't been drinking enough water.  Am up 2.2 lbs!!!  I'm not giving up.  Doing the Walk a Block for Lupus walkathon today and staying on the diet.

Barb135 - I'm glad your down.

Well, let's just say it hasn't been a good week for me. I was totally out of control last night with my eating. I don't even know how much I'm up. I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow. It seems that every now and then I feel the need to hit bottom before I try to get out of the "self destruct" mode. Well I believe I hit bottom last night, so hear I go. I'm behind on everything you can think of except my exercise and I have to believe if I start on it right now it will help pull me up out of "it" I'm a strong woman but just not strong enough sometimes. Deep breath.....
