I think including extra protein in your diet cud make you feel fuller longer and may help you stop eating too much..Proten bars, soya nuts,chciken,turkey are some of the lean protein options i can provide.

Another solution is to eat some beans. They can be pork & beans, chick peas (great cold with a bit of chopped onion and lemon juice or add them to a salad), white kidney beans (mash them with olive oil and garlic) or any other beans you like. They will make you feel satisfied and kill your hunger.

I hope your changes in medication are doctor's orders--Can you call any of your care providers about your concerning situation? I hope you are in a safe place.
In the mean time, my only suggestion would be to get things like celery and carrots, both of which are filling and low-cal. That's how I dealt with being on steroids--I ate lots of veggies and drank lots of water.
I'm not sure what you are eating, but I know if I over do it on sugary and startchy foods, I can get really tired and emotional.
