yeah well i guessed right!! dont really believe in eating more but i knew if you cut out too much too fast or just too little in general you body could go into starvation mode which would mean no results!
Look at all of those responses! Well....time to unveil the correct answer.
A) Drastically cut your caloric intake.
*While most dieters are quick to blame themselves for eating too much, in truth they may not be eating enough," says Joan K. Barber, MD, director of the eating disorders program at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. A diet too low in calories causes your body to slow down its metabolism to conserve body fuel and use fewer calories. You basically diet yourself into starvation. Weight loss specialist, Lori Henke, RD, LD, nutrition director of WellPlan, Inc., a corporation in Salina, Kansas, specializing in health education, reports that as many as one third of her clients fit this description. In these cases, Henke increases the total daily caloric intake in small increments adding as little as 100 extra calories at a time - until their intake is at a level that normalizes metabolism, yet still allows weight loss.*
While I am not suggesting that this may be the case for us all, I certainly know that it is often times the case for me. Have a very close look at your caloric intake (as well as any medical conditions that you may have) and discuss this with your physician if you have any concerns in this area at all. Ranaesheart has some wonderful calculations for calories needed based on body frame, etc., that are also extremely helpful with determining the number of calories your body needs, which can be utilized in determining where you should be calorically speaking to optimize your weight loss efforts.
I read option C wrong...therefore I answered wrong lol. Or I read it right..but my head messed it up. I actually want to choose A instead of D lol!
