For the past 3 days I've been going on a diet, and by diet I mean properly eating my meals (usually either noodles/rice/bread for lunch & generally dinner is pretty healthy with foods like chicken/fish/vegetables/etc.) instead of eating crackers dipped in chocolate sauce all day long until lunch or dinner comes along. While I understand that results shouldn't be showing in a span of 3 days, during my diet I've been steadily gaining weight instead. Is this because I'm cutting down on the /massive/ (no, seriously) amounts of sugar I used to take in or something? I thought cutting out junk foods were supposed to help, not the other way around. I've also been going to the gym on the exercise bike for an hour for the past 3 days, but I highly doubt that's the reason for this sudden gain in weight. I'm 5'3, I used to weigh 107lbs, and now I'm 110lbs, and I can barely remember the last time I ever hit the 110+ above mark, so naturally my first question is 'what the hell'. Despite some people thinking I might be really thin with that weight, I'm really not. I look generally healthy enough, but I'm not even kidding when I say I'm a little chubby all over. So does anyone know why I'm suddenly gaining weight instead? I thought it could be my period coming since it's been a while (no, I'm not pregnant), but my weight's never spiked up like this before.
