bleeding after orgasm

hello, i am 22 years old and whenever i orgasm (always through masturbation and sometimes with intercourse) i bleed very heavily just for a little while (1/2 or 1 hr max). it's usually a very thick and clotty discharge. when i masturbate, there is no penetration, just clitoral stimulation. i have noticed this problem for at least a couple of years and initially my doctor thought it was because i was in depo provera and had abnormal bleeding all the time. i have been on the pill for over 7 months and my periods are back to normal except after this occurrence following orgasm.

in april i had an abnormal pap smear that indicated i had HGSIL (high-grade intraepithelial lesions) of the cervix. after doing a colposcopy/cervical biopsy, my doctor decided that i am going to have a LEEP procedure for a 1/2 cone biopsy, but she isn't sure what causes the bleeding. they also did an endometrial biopsy as well as a saline infused sonogram to check for endometrial polyps and fibroids to see if that was causing the bleeding, but came up negative. they are stumped.

my sister had severe endometriosis at 31 and had to get a full hysterectomy last year. i, however, do not have any pain or cramping whatsoever, just bleeding. do you know what else could possibly cause bleeding after orgasm? it's gotten to the point where i don't masturbate anymore and i don't wait to reach orgasm during intercourse with my boyfriend because it's so grotesque and messy. what could it be?

No depo shot here, but used birth control pills from 18-30. Then stopped. Then used some progesterone cream to fix my cycles. Orgasm (without penetration) is causing me to bleed. I went back on the birth control to try to fix this and now it is still happening on it! I am glad I sm not alone, but wish we could find the answer, ladies! (I have PCOS symptoms, but pap is normal and doctors never see/feel anything out of the norm.)

Good afternoon. I am curious if you found out what was causing your bleeding after organizing. I'm 45  with a new Indian partner and I did start smoking menthol cigerates.  I was wondering if the smoking could be causing it.

I am 21 (soon to be 22) and I've had issues with abnormal bleeding, cramping and bloating after arousal, stimulation and sex since being on the depo shot. I was on the pill orthotricyclen (i dont think i spelled it right) for a year or so but got off of it after having severe abdominal pain. The pain went away after i stopped using it. After that I got on the depo provera shot. I loved not having a period anymore but I was sick alot, gained weight and started having issues with bleeding. I did alot of research and found that it can make you infertile and make you go into menopause early so I got off of it after using it for 3 years. It's been six months since I've been off of it and off of any hormonal birth control and I haven't had a period since. I only use condoms and have never been pregnant. I still have light bleeding for a few days..anywhere from 1-7 days after sex/masturbation/arousal and cramping, nausea, dizziness and bloating. I've read most of the posts from you all and I really dont know what to do or where to go from here. I don't even think it's worth going to a doctor and getting all these tests done because most of them don't really listen and are quick to put you on medication/birth control and get you out of their way. I just find it very sad and unfortunate. I hope my bleeding and symptoms stop and I have a regular period. I wish all of you the best and if someone finds a culprit or answer please let me know.

I an do freaked out right now. It has been seven years with hundreds of women with the same problem with little to no answers. It is 2015 and I could have anything from cancer to uterine contractions. I'm seriously considering getting my equipment removed. In nineteen and I don't want to wake up with cancer one day when I don't want biological children. I've always only ever wanted to adopt. I'm seeing a doctor tomorrow for an inner ear infection. While I'm at it I'll ask about my vagina and hopefully get some answers or get an appointment to have my ovaries removed.

This has been happening to me for 2 years now. Although there doesnt seem to be any real answers,i thought i'll add my story to this thread in hopes of maybe one day when more medical research is done, they will stumble across this.

I'm now 26 with PCOS. I've been on the pill since I was 18. Never been on depo. No children. Have never been pregnant. I have HPV. I am overweight and have gained atleast 40 kg in weight in 5 years (most likely related to the PCOS, i weigh 114kg).

I have had a papsmear and have found irregular pre-cancer cells. I went for a check up a year later and it was all clear.

I find this problem comes and goes. It will last for about 3 months and then will go all together for another 5 months or so until it comes back.

I've been to specialists and have biopsy and tests and no one knows what's going on.

I am so angry for each and everyone one of us who has posted here and who has to go through this. This is obviously a common problem but doctors just turn a blind eye. There is no awareness. There are no actual answers or cure. And we all must live life like this and suffer in embarrassing silence. I feel like no one in the medical industry really cares as this is just another women's health issue and women still aren't valued or equal to men.

I hate that there is nothing I can do but give up and suffer.
