what happens after the depo shot?

The doctor put me on the depo shot to regulate my periouds and to reduce my ovorie six. well... i a havent been on my period scince the last time i took the shot and that was 11-12 months ago. I dont know what to do?

I had the depo shot for 2 years. Once I stoped getting it, it took about 9 months for my period to return. Just give it time. I've heard it could take up to 3 or 4 years for it too get out of your system. Eventually you'll get your period back. If you don't in a few more months you might want to ask your doctor about it.
