No Answer--Wondering if its Fibromyalgia

I am a 31 year old female who suffers from chronic pain...in my lower back, shoulder/arm, chest, knees, hands and feet.  I have bouts of iritis and my fingers and toes stiffen at random times and hurt when they do so.  I've had problems with my vision (blurry, eye twitches, and seeing specs).  Stress, lack of sleep or fatigue can worsen the symptoms but sometimes they occur almost out of the blue.  I've gone to doctors and have been tested for lupus and arthritis...both coming back negative.  I am now searching for some answers.  As we speak, my fingers are stiffening and hurting.  I've been told to see a rheumatologist or orthopedic doctor.  Bone density tests have also been mentioned.  What do you think this is and would you recommend any other testing?

This discussion is related to I need help figuring out what I have.

I'm not sure the name of the test but it was a blood and urine test done to rule out lupus as well as the arthritis.  I've had these ongoing symptoms for at least 2 yrs with no real diagnosis.  A friend has just given me the name of her rheumatologist (she was recently diagnosed with lupus) so I will pursue the testing they deem necessary.  I haven't been tested for fibromyalgia so will definitely do that.

There are several "look alike" illnesses.  They are:

MS

Chronic Fatigue

Lupus

Fibromyalgia

Lymes

low vit D

Which test did the do to "rule out" lupus?  I know the rhematoid arthritis test don't always come back positive.  So many people go years being mistreated by drs. end up w/ a RA dx.  Has anyone checked for fibromyalgia?  There are 18 pressure points that a dr can check (usually a rhematologist).

I think this question is best suited to your doctor, he/she will know if it's a possibility!

A lot of your symptoms do occur with fibro but aren't linked to the diagnosis, eye specs are normal in most people and your eyes should get checked out too!

I should also mention that I've been having an increase of nausea and headaches.
