fainting or vomiting while on the toilet

From early childhood I have had episodes where I pass out while trying to have a bowel movement.  I would turn very white, sweat buckets, passout and then have the diareah.  Always there is an extreme amount ot pain in my abdomen.  As I was adopted, I didn't find out until I was in my late 30's that this was a family trait.  I was diagnosed with breast cancer and Hashimotoes disease about 5 years ago.  In the process of going through the chemo and the many tries at a thyroid hormone replacement, the problems I had with defication has changed.  I now vomit when I have a bowel movement.  This is not all of the time.  It is occasionally, but consistant.  I have never had anyone diagnose it.  I have never had anyone take it seriously.  It is uncomfortable and embarrasing sometimes.  Do you think you could give me some idea of what this may be.  I do have a heart that beats extra beats.  I went to a heart specialist quite a few years back and he said that my heart was basically fine and that the extra beats were not to be worried about.  Thank you for any thoughts that you may have on this matter

fainting while trying to pass stools is due to blood pressure, its common in the elderly and in fact some elderly people die straining on the toilet due to this problem. its known as the valsalva (sp?) manouvre. i think its what elvis prestley died of. not sure about the vomitting, expect thats more a bowel.stomach prob. but u should get ur heart and bp checked out at the gp.
