How to make a person more comfortable and see them through the dt's

dt's as in alcohol " can be very dangerous.. if it gets to bad I would suggest going to the hospital.. hot baths a quiet area and company.. make sure that they stay hydrated as it is very important.. we have a excellent alcohol forum that you may want to check into. Valerian root works well for calming the nerves.. if they start to hallucinate do not hesitate to go to the hospital.. you also may try massage..a calm area would be best and food anything from dry toast to ensure.. they should not be left alone ok If you have anymore questions go to the alcoholic forum you will glean a lot of info from there.. I wish the very best for the person quitting.. It would not hurt to speak with a Dr. as they can offer meds that will lessen the severity.. Please keep reaching out for support.. lesa
