I was just diagnosed with a "complex solid mass" on my left ovary. This is what my report said:
There is a sharply-circumscribed, but complex-appearing solid mass within the left ovary, which measures 3.9cm. This mass is predominantly hypoechoic. However, there is a 8mm echgenic focus along the periphery of this mass.
Can anyone explain what this means? I have an appointment with my doctor but I would like answers sooner if possible.
