i'm sorry honey.. i personally have never heard of it...
Are you sure the pharmacy didn't mess up and give her hydro cortisone cream??? Instead of whatever she was supposed to get.. Usually for post op tonsilitis they give liquid Loritab or liquid hydro that comes like cough syrup.. This doesn't sound right>..
it says hydrocodone gel, and you rub it on your wrist..i told my sister the same thing..I can't find it anywhere on the internet..And i felt bad becasue she is 15 and hurting so bad..They did call her in some liquid so she is doing better today...But i made sure i read the instructions and it was pure hydrocodone gel..NEVER hear of that..
thanks
you are the best

I thought I had been around the block when it came to opiates, but I've never heard of such a thing. The only opiate gel I've ever heard of is the gel inside duragesic or generic fentanyl patches. It's timed release. I wouldn't think they would have a gel to rub on. You would never know exactly how much hydro you were dosing. I'd call the pharmacist and see what the heck he gave you. Hydro does come in a suspension (orally). It's usually used for cough suppression. Please, let us know what this stuff is when you find out.
