Can someone please help with my question its about leftover suboxone

I am about to detox after two years of hydromorphone.  I have suboxone in my med cabinet.  I have the suboxone that contains the ...I forget what its called but it is not the pure suboxone that I got during my initial induction phase.  Will the suboxone that I have be as effective without the induction phase of the program?????  I know that I have quite a lot ot thesuboxone.because of previous attempts to get off of these evil pills.

Any response would me much appreciated.

yes...you should be fine with it...just make sure you are in withdrawals before you take it, or you will be sorry, you should wait 18-24 hours between you last dose of morphine and your first dose of suboxone...you HAVE to be in withdrawals...or it will put you into precipitated withdrawals, which is sheer hell!!
there is alot of information in my profile, i would suggest you read it and familiarize yourself about suboxone before you take any...GL to you!! and if you have anymore question please ask...there are a few people here on suboxone that could help you...

Yeah I definately realize shes talking about methadone to suboxone. I believe what she is saying, it just seems so strange that the meth wont be out of our systems in 5 days. BUT, it is what it is. It just seems almost impossible and a world away for me.

Tammy...she is only talking about transitioning from Methadone to Suboxone....do you understand that??? Big difference when you are taking pain meds....

WHAT?! holy shiite muslems!! 5 days is a long time! I may as well forget about getting on the sub tx. Im on too high a dose right now anyways. I read the posts all the time but I bet I missed when you told everyone about the precip. w/ds. I am going to go check out your profile too. Thanks

yeah, i got put into precipitated WD's also...i waited 5 days between my last dose of methadone until i took my first dose of sub, and still got put into immediate precip.WD's...there are no words to describe that feeling...absolutely horrid...did you check out my profile?  it may answer some questions you may have?  GL!!!

I forgot to mention that I did put myself into precipitated withdraws once and there is no words to describe what that felt like.  Anyway thanks for your response,  I am looking foward to kicking this for good and I am looking foward to continued conversations with nice, helpful  and complete strangers like yourself.
