Hello, Doctor
Do you have any idea why many doctors, even a thyroid specialist can not get my hormone level under control. Every blood test I have to change my levoxyl level.
I do feel many sysmptoms but most of all my hair is falling out.
It is very frustrating and sad to see my life change so rapidly.
Help please
You are welcome.
Good luck at the doctor.
No, I will am going to the doctor on Wednesday and I will as for this test.
Thank you. I am very concerned when I see so much hair falling out.
What is the reference range for the t4?
A better test would be free t4.
Alopecia is an autoimmune disorder. ( I had it, but my hair grew back.) I also lost a lot of hair when hypo.
Have you had your ferritin level checked? It is the iron storage protein and dermatologists say if it is below 50, it can cause hair loss. (Mine is only 14.)
