stopping Hydrocodone cold turkey

I decided last week to stop, I was not bad  at 1 or 2  10/500 per day. But they had not really made me feel the same lately so instead of just getting on them worse I decided to stop.
what can I expect as far as symptoms? Right now I have no energy, no interest in doing anything but lying on the couch, no appetite other than wanting ice cream for some reason, I go from sweating to chills in the matter of minutes and my chest feels funny.
Is this normal and if so how long will it last?

I started because of bad back problems and am scarred of what will happen when it flares back up as I know it will.

I know what you mean about the ice cream.  I went 3days c/t and had incredible cravings of ice cream.  Good luck to you!

Stay with it -- you can definitely do it.  You will feel depressed and just unable to connect with whatever is happening around you while you kick hycrocodone but eventually you will feel so much better -- healthier and happier.  Drink a lot of water to help flush it out of your system.  Also, exercise can help you to metabolize and flush it out.  Best to you.

Everything you are feeling is normal, you may experience insomnia and restless legs as well and this may go on for the better part of a week and if you experience depression that is also quit normal.  You will get better it just takes time!
