If you really want to quit the tramadol, I wouldnt suggest taking vicodin, you are just staying in the same cycle. All of us here who are detoxing are dealing with the withdrawals because we all want to be clean. My advice to you is just take the withdrawals for a few days 3-6 days which is the worst and everyday will get better from there!!, and just deal with it. Not to be mean. I am 21 years old. I have been addicted to vicodin and percocet for 2 years. and I was scared of withdrawals but im over it, Everyday gets better, So we feel miserable for a couple days, it beats taking pills everyday for the rest of our lives. You can do this!!! Be strong, Make a plan! Rest!! Talk to some other people in the forum, they are GREAT people and helped me through it. If you have faith you can do this. I wish you the best.

I am on day 3 now with lortab. I did go thru the tramadol wds ct and they seemed to be worse than what I'm going thru now. that's not to say that this is cake. it took about 7-8 days before i started seeing a difference and about 12 days before I really felt good. Take the hot soaks and the 5htps. 3000mgs of L-Tyrosine along with the B-6 does help with energy. Take the Imodium as much as you need right now.
You are at the hump Bud. It gets better from here.
