Well, three is really young.  If you live in the states, he could not be in kindergarten yet but more of a preschool type of setting.  The attention span of a 3 year old developmentally would be pretty short.  A preschool curriculum is usually set up into very short time slots with 10 minutes here, 5 minutes there and maybe 20 minutes on the playground.  This is about all a three year old can handle at their stage of development.

Not listening again is a common problem with 3 year olds.  I find it helpful to make eye contact----------  you can gently touch his shoulder and he'll probably look at you and then you tell him while making eye contact.  Getting on their level can help.  Breaking instructions down into small parts can help as well.

How is his speech?  Some kids do have trouble processing things that are said to them and then articulating what they want to answer.

Many 3 year olds are hyper acting.  You can help calm them down by increasing his physical activity.  Get him outside running, jumping, rolling down hills and running up them, climbing, sliding, skipping and swinging.  If he can ride a bike or trike, that is also a nice calming activity.  Do as much physical play as you can.

With a child that shows aggression it is important to always remain calm and gentle with him.  Don't yell (push your tongue to the roof of your mouth) and certainly don't hit or push yourself.  Model how he is to act.  Also role play alternate ways for him to handle frustration, sadness and anger.

ADD/ADHD is not typically diagnosed until the earliest age of 6 and I feel that is too young in my opinion.

If you suspect that he was premature or his birth mother used alcohol or drugs during her pregnancy, you can consult a developmental pediatrician.  In the US, our public school system also provides early intervention for free.  A child that meets the criteria of needing early intervention attends a preschool program and services such as speech, occupational therapy, etc. are provided by law.  Something to think about if you are in the US.
good luck
