Is he the rapist kid or ???

I was raped on the night of March 15, midnight making it the 16th which was a Sunday (2013) Two weeks following that, sometime around March 27-29 my boyfriend and I had sex. I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant April around the 20th, I'm trying to figure out whether my son is my boyfriends but calculating it the dates are too close to the date of my rape ...

Since you've already had the baby,  you can get a simple DNA test done for about $100 at Walgreens using mouth swabs to determine who the father is.

Your dates aren't any help in determining paternity - by typical calculations you got pregnant from sex between March 18 and March 23,  which doesn't include either sexual encounter.

Best wishes.

By the dates your giving.. you would have become pregnant at the end of April. Which is before the day you were raped. Were you with your boyfriend at this time? Who did you have sex with towards the end of April? The rapist is definitely not the father of this child if your dates are correct.

Sorry I meant to say FEBRUARY, Not April. You would have become pregnant in February. You need to think about who you were with during that month to determine who the father is. You can get testing done to determine paternity. Good Luck and keep us posted!! :)

NJ,  dating pregnancy is confusing.

The pregnancy date begins on the first day of the last regular menstrual cycle,  not on the day you have sex to conceive.  This comes from a time when that was the only way to determine the date of the pregnancy - before reliable lab tests and sonograms.

So.  If you are diagnosed as being 6 weeks pregnant,  they are saying it was 6 weeks since your last normal period began,  and you had sex to get pregnant 4 weeks ago.

If she truly was 6 weeks pregnant April 20,  she got pregnant mid-March,  so between March 18 and 23.

Confusing,  I know.
