allmymarbles It`s a little bit complicated.I have master degree in medicine, have stutied 6 years medicine.I want now to be a surgeon, thoracic surgeon and if I stay here,I need to study 5 years for this. But I want to make a PhD program paralel with thoracic surgery, this is what I want exactly. To make a science degree with the MD,because you can be a lecturer with a Phd.I want to combine this two things in some of the top universities in USA,for which of course I will pay, money aren`t problem for me now.
Dokkk this is not the forum for this.
You need to discuss this with medical school admissions counselors, not an anonymous webforum, and kudos to allmymarbles for trying to guide you through this.

I think we are using different terms. To be a physician you do not need a PhD. I do not know our equivalent for a master's degree in medicine, or how it relates to being a physician. Medical school is four years here for those with a bachelor's degree. After medical school, the graduate chooses a medical speciality, at which time he becomes a resident (I guess you could call it an apprentice) for a varying number of years depending on his speciality.
I would have a better idea of what you want if you told me what profession you are seeking and what the master's degree in medicine entails. It occurs to me that your mention of an MD/PhD program mean a speciality in psychiatry. A psychiatrist here has an MD who specializes in psychiatry as a resident.
And another question.Should I have some minimum avarage score from the medical university to allow me to start md/phd program in USA ?
So MD is like our specialization after master degree of medicine ? And I have a choise to start combined MD/PhD program.Do you know how long does it takes to finish this program in USA,approximately of course.Thank you in advance.
If you want to practice medicine you need an MD. A PhD can be had in many specialties. It is the degree beyond an MA (master's degree) and two degrees above a BA (bachelor's degree).
