OMG, I literally just heard that Tom will be suspended for the first 4 games of the season.  Yowza!!! I really am pretty surprised they did that.

I was not sure he was playing. He skipped the recent tournament, sometimes he doesn't make the cut, on and on. His playing is not good, agreed, but his presence causes others to play differently, I think.  Anyway, we'll see. I love watching The Masters!

Tiger is playing. He could NOT miss this but he is playing like dog poop. His days are over. Rory is a good pick but he started out late in the states this year. He is going a little slow. He had a lot of legal problems at home and he has spent some time in court. Anyone who has won a green jacket and isn't 110 years old will be there and the rest of the field is qualifying. It is only a couple of weeks away so I will post what I hear. Love ya honey and I am glad we are doing this..it's fun!!!

Yes! I'm in!   Right now, I think I'd pick Rory McIlroy BUT it depends on who else is playing...I don't know if Tiger is playing or missing...among others.  So, I may change my pick...LMAO!   Jason Day, huh?  Hmmm...This is gonna be fun!!

BTW Vicki, Since we are the only two here talking about Golf (I told you no  one would be interested), I thought we can do a little wager (no exchange of money of course). How about we try and pick the winner of The Masters. For me it is the toughest tournament to pick because The Masters is always played on the back nine on Sunday. Just ask Greg Norman when his game was played in 1996. OUCH!

Anyway, I choose Jason Day to win the green jacket. Do you want to make a pick?

I don't golf myself. I stink at it. But I do go with Steve and drive the cart. The courses are just so pretty. We have been to the seniors a few times...good stuff but my dream is to go to The Masters........

Bahahaha!  How come I didn't know this??  You ARE a junkie!!  I love the courses as well and I love to go with Dave and just walk the courses... I am not a good golfer but I can have fun!    (Right now Dave is golfing in Arizona...gorgeous!).   And then there's David Feherty....funny and smart guy! I record his show... I love him!

Vicki...I AM so happy to find another Golf Junkie. I know 100 times more about Golf than I do about Football. I know all the players and their wives names and the commentators. I know all the course and most of the time I know who designed them. Pete Dye courses are my favorite..like Crooked Stick where John Daly won the US Open in 1991. It's a beautiful course. Another one of my favorite courses is TPC Sawgrass which Pete designed along with his wife Alice who actually designed the Island Green (17th hole). I began following Bubba Watson before he turned pro and he is my man!! Steve didn't know who he was until he began coming up in the ranks. He thought I was crazy following someone who wasn't even on the circuit and look at him now. This year, at The Masters) I want him to take off his green jacket, spin around and hand it to himself. I want back-to-back wins! Vicki, I could sit here all day and chat Golf but I must be boring the bejesus out of everyone by now..lol

And of course I have the Golf Channel....

I watch golf all the time!  OMG! That's so funny that you do, too!  Do you have the Golf Channel?  I love the scenery and the way they speak so quietly...very calming...But, no way could we do a golf pool. Major headache!

I am also a Golf Junkie but I would not even begin to know how to set that thing up. Besides, most people would not even consider watching Golf. So that is how I pass my Summer away waiting for Football..lol

So how about Bowling? Fishing? Gopher watching??? Any suggestions and I will be all over it....

I will enjoy every single moment of Spring and Summer....especially Summer as it is my most favorite of all seasons.  Football is the only thing that excites me about Fall.  With that said, football talks and training begin in summer and will be here before we know it.  Having something to look forward to and be excited about is a wonderful thing.:)
