I actually feel espexially bad about this because i watched the video of her last concert where she bombed so bad. You know...looking back you can clearly see that it was a video of someone on the verge of death and who seriously needed some kind of intervention. At the time, though...you just dont realise its close to the end for them. Same with anna nicole smith...i watched her presentation at one of the award shows when she was smashed. It was very funny at the time, but things become much clearer when something like this happens and you realise it wasnt funny at all...it was someone totally out of control and about to die from their demons.
She was notorious for her drug abuse, but she really was a great talent. I was rooting for her. I thought canceling her shows might get her back on track. Too bad. Whether a person is talented or not...this is always a terrible way to go...assuming it actually was an OD.
Very good reminder why we are sober and glad to stay that way.
I had no idea, KMO has had me in computer class all day. Thanks for the heads up. You are right, what a reminder to us all. R.I.P Amy
32 sorry to make you all go google lol
how old was Keith Moon when he died?
Yup of the Stones - found dead in his own swimming pool. HUGE loss.
Brian Jones of the Stones, right?
That's right - Kurt Cobain - now that was a huge loss....Brian Jones too....
very sad, such a waste! RIP. Amy
27 club- Jimi hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain, and now, Amy Winehouse.
Yup just saw that - they're calling it an "unexplained" death - but I'm sure we're going to find out it was drug-related.
Jeff Conaway, Mike Starr, Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse - the list continues to grow. Pretty scary shi*............
wow you realize she joins the "27 club" with Jimi and Janis-I know there are more on that list :( too bad and yes a nice reminder
