Time is flying quick wish it would slow down just a little bit. One advantage is I will be able to burn the wood in the fireplace I love the smell of that hickory and oak wood burning. The kids love to make smores when I have the fire going.  Oh well I guess I better get ready LOL

We are planning on going back next summer. My kids are ready to ride the duck again so they can splash in the water on the big bus.
Its a very very nice place to me I had more fun there than what I did in Vegas and I saved money lol
I could live there but its hard to pick up and move that far away

That is where my hubby and I went on our honeymoon, and we have gone almost every year with the exception of a few.  It is about a 9 hour drive for us and we have family who live in Branson.

When my husband started his business, I begged him for us to move to Branson.  My selling point was that he would always have plenty of work.  He just didn't want to leave "home", and now I am glad that he didn't.

I love the fall, winter, and spring.  Where I am we generally run the air at Christmas, but I think my favorite month of the year would have to ve November.  The only problem with that is that it is my hubby's busiest time of the year.  He is a landscape contractor and we own a nursery business and that is when I hardly ever see him.  People usually think of the summer as being a landscaper's busiest time of the year, but actually August is the worst.

I love going to Branson, Missouri over the Thanksgiving holidays and watching their Christmas Shows and seeing the lights.  The last time we went we were able to see it snow.  That was the first time my 12 year old (10 at the time) saw snow.

We also love going to Canton, Texas in March and October.  We love shopping the flea market and those are the best months.  Not too hot, not too cold.

actually, with my back, I think we'll have the  landscapers do the leave cleanup.  I bought a leaf blower which is nice once I got the hang of it and wasn't blowing the siding off the house and sending the dog 3 blocks down the street.

and some years we're really lucky and the wind blows 'em all into my neighbors yard.  most of the time it's the opposite, though.

One cannot say enough about the colors around here, particularly in a real good year, which should be this year, considering the rain we've had.

Oh..I am happy not to have to mow the lawn...I've got nearly an acre to mow and even on a rider it does my back not a bit of good.  Oh..and I make chili more often..and I think of chicken and dumplins more often.

But once the daily temp goes below 40...that's it..I hate it.

I like the change in colors.  That's it.  Way up here in New Hampshire, evenings are getting cooler.  I hate the day when I finally have to give up wearing shorts in the evening and even worse the daytime.  Leaves.  I like the change in color..I hate the raking and baging and raking and baging and raking and bagging...I hate the day I have to wear a coat to work.  I hate the day when I have to wear a coat just to take the dog out.  I hate Halloween (sorry..even as a kit I've hated it).  I hate winter...oh, do I hate winter.  I've gotta get the snowblower ready (got some repairs to do on it).  I hate to shove it..I hate the cold..

why am I in New Hampshire you say?   I don't know..every year, we're getting closer to moving to Georgia.

I like how the leaves change. In my area, they are starting to and some starting to fall already. I love warm apple cider too and taking the kids to the orchards and my aunt's house for the weekend hayrides. And let's not forget Halloween, my kids love it and we are trying to figure out what we are going to be, I make thier costume sfor them. I hope it's a long fall though, I'm not ready for the big chill of winter yet...last year I made a promise I'd walk to work (I'm less than a mile) and I walked to work from December to March (I live in Michigan) all except 3 days when I had to get out of work admn hurry to an appointment, and let me tell ya, that was hard, but I'm making  myself do it again for some odd reason.
