Most folks on here have pretty good thinkers in their heads…….Should women reporters be allowed in a men’s locker room?

Of course I am referencing the Mexican (female) reporter who felt she was treated with disrespect while waiting on a Jets player for an interview this past Sunday.

Or, did she see a chance to get her name in the headlines for a while?

i really believe it is a publicity stunt...she is mexican, she knew very well what to expect ......and if it weren't the Jets, someother's lockers would have fit sooner or later on the strategy ( humm judging by how well she fits the backside of a pair of jeans ;)

She calls herself the hottest reporter in all of Mexico, did you see that? She also usually has her boobs half out showing a lot.  I think she looks like a hooker and an ugly one at that. She got what she wanted, attention. No women should ever be sexually assaulted by any man ever tho, never ever.

I think it's blown out of porportion tho and hope she is never allowed in a locker room again, can you imagine us men going in to interview women after a game or practice in that type of situation, lol. Only giving my opinion like you asked.

As I said,I wouldn't want to. It's too intimate an area...and disrespectful to be shoving a mic in some guy's face while he's trying to do his thing.   It's like being in the bathroom

I just wonder why the big deal was made years ago that women reporters should have access to the teams locker room? I have seen women in there and thought surley they felt out of place why would a woman want to be there anyway....really?

As long as the race card is allowed to be used this sort of sh!t will continue....If she felt "disrespected" then go with that but leave race out of it.  What did she expect for God's sake?  Lots of testosterone going on in there...I would of sat back and enjoyed the view!!

Okay...here's what I think and I'll probably get a $hitstorm of grief. Just know,I call it as I see it.

There are MANY female reporters in the sports world...and they don't NEED to go into ANY lockerroom for an interview. Most of them are respectful.  

This woman is the exception. I truly believe this is all about race. She's hispanic. End of story.   This race BS has got to stop!!!    She's complaining now because she feels she was slighted because of race. It's a bunch of crap!!    And who the hell wants to be in ANY lockeroom after ANY game!!   YUK!!   I've played sports and I didn't want to be in there!!!

So,Derek Jeter,go take a shower,get dressed and talk to me baby...

Mexican, white, purple, gay, straight or female, she can interview outside the locker room.  Show men the respect we women want from men.

Would they let a man in a womens locker room??  I think if she is going into a man's locker room then SHE needs to realize that is THEIR place and she is a guest.  Kind of like the old vegas saying....what happens in a locker room stays in a locker room!!  She is the one who put herself in that situation so as far as i am concerned she needs to be able to deal with whatever comes her way(minus sexual contact).  I also think they all could wait to interview these players outside the locker room.  I dont feel a bit sorry for her.  sara
