This whole thing about animal abuse vs. what is cruelty and bla bla...PETA  and the whole deal (who i think are crazy and terroristic which I don't agree with) we can go on about that till the cows come home ....its a very controversial touchy-hot topic.

I am so very sorry,  my words came across much less than what I truly intended,   and sounded as tho I do not find animal cruelty ab-horrible,  please know, I believe  they are another innocent and silent voice that so many take advantage of and it is absolutely heartbreaking and inexcusable of what Vicks did with dog fighting.  I truly apologize if my post sounded as though I don't take animal cruelty as a very serious problem and a  pathetic, sub-human action of so-called adults.

I know I am different......  I have lost innocent children to insane illnesses,   and also  donate a lot of time to a  children  agency that is trying to protect babies from abuse.  It broke my heart to read of the Idaho boy,  and the multiple cases of child abuse,  where the babies are not protected,  merely given back to the "birth" mother.....  I just don't understand how many babies need to die  before there is enough focus from the media or elected officials to change our laws.

Again, I apologize to anyone I offended by not expressing my disgust with animal cruelity, and displaying my heartache in such an inapproriate manner,  I'm sorry.

I am really sorry,  and I have never hurt an animal or even a plant in my entire life........  but Vicks served his sentence 100%,  and it amazes me that "America" wants to pretend like "dog fighting" is something invented by a high paid athlete......   I read enough and travel enough to know that "dog fighting" in the South is not an anomaly,,,,, it has been going on for generations  and to this day still continues......   for anyone to be "surprised" by that fact is a bit naive,,,   PETA has a lot of information on the subject,  of why it is so wrong and the history of dog fighting.

However,  we have athlete's that beat their wives,  on more than one occasion,  abuse drugs, and flunk multiple drug tests.....  yet  no one cares and they continue to play without serving one hour in jail.....   I don't get it.


We can have a child in Boise killed by his biological  mother and step-father.  His  "parent"  oh yes and  "mother" cracked the skull of his little brother....... and let's not forget his biological  father's side......  daddy's  wife stuck a knife in a 4 yr old child's chest, gave it a good twist ......killed him......    and none of these lunatics served served 10% of what Vicks served.

Call me crazy,  but when humans,  especially that of our children is given less attention.....concern...or penalty of that for animal abuse,  I cannot comprehend.  Quite frankly I pray to God I never do.

He did do his time in the slammer unlike most others that have messed up..  We all have screwed up at times.  Lets see what he does with the rest of his life and then I'll judge him.  I think/know I got a second chance and he should too.

interesting to see how this Eagles situation turns out....i was reading a journal or something here the other day regarding the Vick situation and I saw some good points made. The biggest one was where some people said if he's allowed to play, his salary should be donated to animal charities.  I think that is a great idea and should be the ONLY way he could play again.  BUt back to the real world, Im sure that wont happen.

as for what team I hate.... seattle seahawks. Ive been holding this grudge since approximately 1985, LOL.   They did a horrible penalty which severely injured one of my favorite players at that time (Clarence Weathers from the Cleveland Browns). Ive hated them ever since, lol.
