The job market in Georgia is a little better and my wife is warming to the idea finally...what I want to do is find a job that will keep me with an income for 2-3 years and then I can retire.
Jim
Jim...This is horrible news. So hard to get your head around it,huh? I'm sorry for this loss...I do know that feeling...
I have no idea so I have to ask: What's the job market like in Georgia??? I'll bet you've been having thoughts...!! If possible,I think you should just do it!!
xo
Hi, no, was unable to see them for Christmas, Sara...they're way down south in beautiful Georgia and I'm up here in snow, windy cold New Hamsphire...I did talk to them...I answered the phone to hear my grandaughter say "Hi Grandpa!" which just made my day..and of course my grandson's ramblings which I've yet to translate very well.
Had a nice Christmas, took time to relax...hope everybody else had a good one..Got some great DVD's to watch (Back to the Future Trilogy on Blu Ray!, as well as some Discovery Channel stuff which I just love...I'm on call this week and while I'm working I'll be watching them.
Was very sad about my colleague and many of us are still very angry...I'm not sure I'll ever stop being angry about it. He was a colleague, a good friend and a gentle man who I guess just got pushed to the brink and saw no way out..the job market where he lived is non existant.
God Bless, all...
Jim
I am so sorry Jim to hear about your colleague. I dont even know what to say.
Will you be seeing your grandbabies for Christmas?
thanks all...yes I will pop in once in a while...the heartbreaking event was a 30 year colleague who got the news about himself being laid off and took his own life..a lot of people are of course sad, but very angry at the company, but that won't change anything of course..
Another guy was laid of just this past Monday...
God Bless all and I'll be in touch
Hugs to all
Jim
