Howdy..been a way for a while..2 reasons..my main PC got hit by lightening and fried the motherboard (using my work laptop now) and, last week my wife surprised me with a belated birthday present..my 32y year old son..whom
she bought a ticket from Atlanta to Manchester, NH)...boy was I suprised, and happy, to see him..he had with him my bday present..a ticket to see Bruce Springsteen at Foxboro, Mass for Sturday night the 2nd, and then my wife announced that she had me a rount trip ticket from Manchester-Atlanta to ride back with my son and spend a week with him and my 2 grandchldren (4 year old girl, 4 month old boy) and my wonderful DIL.

I've seen a LOT of rock shows over the years, but never seen Bruce...holy cow..what a show that man puts on...and then the visit with my grandchildren was the nearest thing to heaven I can think of...we had a wonderful week, plenty of good southern food (no chicken and dumplings, though) and just time to relax and visit..and convince myself that when retirement time rolls around..that's where I'm going..if not before..I've been down there several times, but the more I'm there..the more I like it..

Anyway..that's where I've been.  Bought a new desktop Computer today and will set it up Thurs so hopefully will be around more frequently.
