Mary had it right when she said make it her day(all day) and make her feel special. Guys don't do that enough. Make her feel like a princess and jewelry doesn't hurt!
just don't give her what I got for my birthday which was just back in March and hopefully you will be fine!
aaawwwhhh...that's toooooo bad...lol.
when i was married to the "good doctor"...he bought me a 4 carat diamond solitaire ring. it came from a jewelry store...but it was part of an estate sale. it was "used"...but i could have cared less.
Good idea, but I think that would land me in the dog house real quick. She is only funny about a few things and while I have never asked her, I would bet that would be one of them.
I have found that Sam's club has nice jewlery at reasonable prices. They do look at you strange when you ask for a jewlers loop and pick through the stock to find the best one.
just a thought!!!!!! stop by a pawn shop instead...they have awesome second hand jewelry there and at a fraction of the price. i found some awesome diamond earrings there this past december when i was looking for a ring for one of my younger sons to give his girlfriend. i came home and was telling hubby about how "cheap" diamonds were and about the earrings. he surprised me with them for christmas and i could have cared less that they were NOT NEW!!!! they look good on the new owner...:)
Good thinking, this will be a birthday she will never forget :)
