I love the Stephanie Plum novels! I put off reading them for so long because I thought they would be stupid. They are so funny and just awesome! That is one series that I could read over and over. I also read a lot of James Patterson, Robin Cook, Michael Crichton. Stephen King, and of course all of the literary classics. I always have a book. It's the best escape that there is!
I have the up most respect for all of you that read..This is part of the reason all of you are good writers and spellers out here..And your punctuation is right there. This is one thing I have always had a hard time with..I will read a lot if I am trying to learn something..Then the flashlight in my head stays focused on it.Not that I have a attention disorder, it is just that I was not raised around readers nor did I do very well in English. I think I was out in the orange grooves smoking pot!! I sure pay for it..Although I must say I am now stating to read a lot of info form AA/NA and other books I got. I did read all of the books in about 3 days about the little house on the prairie..lmao OH yes I used to finish a romantic book in no time too!! ha! SO I am very proud of all of you readers..I wish I was better at it..I am trying..lol
Of course I remember "Coma"! So good! I love to read also. It is my escape from reality. I always have a book. I read every night before I go to sleep. I have done this since I first learned to read. When I was little, I would read under my covers with a flashlight. Got caught a few times! LOL!
I love to read! Let's see...Patricia Cornwell writes terrific books and Robin Cook's creepy medical thrillers are fun...Remember "Coma"? YIKES!
I always wanted to be an epidemiologist. I wanted to work for the CDC and fly off at a moments notice to track down breakouts of Ebola in Africa, or even Legionaires here in the US.
One of the cases a few years ago was traced to a hot tub display in Lowes. They weren't properly changing the filter.
I was quite serious about this, but circumstances forced me to attend college elsewhere and do something else. Now I read about it!
Sorry nothing noble, just exciting!
I just finished W is for Wasted. She writes too slow! It's like a year and a half between each book! Compared to James Patterson, who writes like 8 a year, albeit with co authors on all but the Alex Cross series!
