I visited the southwest on vacation many years ago. I loved it so I moved here!! Can you say impulsive???? LOL
I would move just outside of The French Quarter in New Orleans. The people are like no other and the food---well, what can I say. But I would have to change the weather and I don't think GOD is going to give me that job..lol
hmmmm.....I loved South Padre Island so i will pick there.
Wow good choices! I just got back from New Orleans and we stayed hal a mile from the french quarter. Talk about amazing food! I stayed in an amazing penthouse in New York in Times Square in 2003 and the city life suits me so if I could go back there and live ( rent free preferably lol) Id go back in a heartbeat.
I'd love to live in a place called Hervey Bay on the east coast of Queensland,Australia every year between August and October the humped back whales move up the coast from the Antarctic to breed there. The worlds largest sand island is just of the coast there as well and is home to the last remaining pure bred dingoes, and there are beautiful rainbow sands every colour you can imagine.
Okay i am moving with Narla!!
I would go to Maine. Bar Harbor. Hump back whales, Eagles, The sea, It is so beautiful. Eat lobster everyday and clams!!! Yummmmmmmm!!!
Vancouver, Vancouver, Vancouver!!!!!!
I can't get enough of Vancouver. The people are so nice, the drivers are even courteous, the mountains are beautiful......oh...and have I mentioned the golf courses???
......like being on another planet!!!!
Acworth, GA (or perhaps Kennesaw or Woodstock)
I lived in Atlantic Beach NC when husband was in military. It was a cute little island that while staying in my apartment I could see the atlantic ocean, It was so peaceful and beautiful. Of course at the time I didn't have any kids so that might of had something to do with peaceful. I hate living in South Louisiana!!
I could live with Narla for 4 months, Terry for 4 and bob for 4.......sound like a plan??
what..you're not going to visit me in Georgia? The way things are looking though, my son may change careers and wind up getting transferred.
OK..I'd love to live on a private island in The Bahamas..if money were no object, couple hundred K for a week...the staff are practically invisible
Okay now i will live with you on the island!!!
Ya know I don't like the hot weather. I have been to a bunch of places but Maine blew me away.
Terry
I would go to Cape Breton Island where I would do as beatingthis would be doing. Eating lobster clams and cod every day. I would be just north of where beatingthis is.
The wife and I went to Vieques, Puerto Rico on our honeymoon. Most awesome place EVAR.
Tiny island off the South-East coast, about 30 minutes in a puddle-jumper.
Go check it out. AWESOME!
Apparently it's become a little more commercialized since we were there in 2005, but it still looks to be pretty untouched (although I'm sure some hotel magnate will go there eventually and f*ck it up).
Since no one is coming to 'Nawlins with me, I am going to my 2nd favorite place: Orient Beach, St. Maarten.
Now I bet I've got some takers...LOL
IBK...I can't go there.I was banned for life.
SInce you are moving in with me too that would be great. We could take the jeep!We could go to Arcida Park!!!!!!!
Terry
